Original, not passed off as official
Testify does not label original practice questions as released, licensed, endorsed, or approved NCBE questions. Exam-format references are separated from claims about the source of the practice content.
Testify independently authors its study content. Because original content does not carry the built-in authority of a licensed released exam question, the review process must be visible, repeatable, and candid about what has—and has not—been externally validated.

Question review looks for rule-name leakage, stems that effectively announce the answer, implausible distractors, duplicated choices, malformed answer sets, and explanation language that rewards recognition instead of legal analysis.
Testify audits answer-position balance, uniquely-longest correct-answer patterns, extreme choice-length cues, distractor usage, and whether the keyed answer remains the best answer after exceptions and competing doctrines are considered.
Core bar-style items are designed to include a concise rule/application explanation, reasons the alternatives fail, an authority anchor, and a fact change that helps the learner see what would change the result.
Question text, answer keys, explanations, authority references, and exam-scope assumptions can change. Testify treats materially changed content as requiring re-review rather than assuming a previously reviewed item remains approved after editing.
The platform also maintains exam-reference checks for jurisdiction and format changes. Official exam authorities control when a Testify summary conflicts with a current rule, blueprint, adoption notice, or test-day policy.
The current audit records answer-position distribution, exact and near-duplicate flags, uniquely-longest keyed answers, material length cues, giveaway distractors, malformed choices, stem length, missing answer-specific rationales, missing Fact Flips, missing authority anchors, and subject/topic coverage. The owner dashboard exposes the current review queue rather than hiding it.
That automated report does not certify that every legal proposition is correct. Substantive accuracy, ambiguity, current-law treatment, and exceptions remain a documented human-review requirement before Testify describes the complete bank as commercially certified.
Question-level beta feedback, item calibration signals, and material edits can return content to the review queue. Testify separates product feedback from promotional consent and does not turn a reviewer’s criticism into an endorsement.
Private beta field data is useful for finding confusing or unusually easy/hard items, but it is not a substitute for commercial-scale psychometric validation. Testify does not treat practice accuracy as an official scaled score or AI writing feedback as official jurisdiction grading.
Selected content has undergone internal legal-content review. Broader attorney and professor subject-matter review remains a pre-release requirement, and Testify will identify named reviewers publicly only with their permission and only for work they actually reviewed.
Beta reviewers can report legal accuracy, ambiguity, explanation quality, mobile behavior, broken links, and design friction. Negative feedback is not suppressed. A reviewer’s product feedback is not turned into a public endorsement without separate permission for the exact promotional wording.
